Northern Utah is home to many gorgeous cities. The towering mountain ranges in Northern Utah make it beautiful from every angle. They also make it a great place for outdoor adventures. The summertime offers extreme heat that makes water activities seem particularly inviting. The winter brings cold and snow, so snow sports enthusiasts can carve the slopes at one of Utah’s many ski resorts. Utah’s varying temperatures also mean that having a working HVAC system in your home is essential. HVAC Utah services the Morgan area, so we can help you maintain, repair, or replace your current system. Now you can focus less on your malfunctioning air conditioner, and more on the fantastic entertainment options that come with living in Morgan, Utah.
East Canyon State Park
Morgan is home to its very own state park! East Canyon State Park is a great place to camp, fish, or boat. Interestingly enough, it is also somewhat historical. Utah was originally settled by Mormon pioneers who traveled from Illinois to escape religious persecution. The trail that those pioneers took to get into Utah is located very close to the state park. If you are spending a day or two exploring the wonderful activities East Canyon has to offer, be sure to check out the Mormon Pioneer Trail as well. After you’ve given a nod to history, you can get back to the present-day on the calm blue waters of East Canyon Reservoir. This large body of water offers boaters plenty of room to cruise around pulling tubes, wake-boards, and more. Maybe you’re more interested in kicking up your heels with a fishing rod and reeling in your own dinner—you can do that too! You can catch a fish and cook it over the fire at your camp site. There are plenty of trails for hiking, biking, and all terrain vehicles. If you’d rather a less nature-oriented activity, check out the park’s golf course. There is plenty to do at East Canyon, no matter who you are.
The Weber River
Another beautiful natural feature of Morgan City is the Weber River. Not only does this river offer spectacular views of a silver ribbon snaking through the Utah landscape, it also provides lots of family fun. You can hit the river in a raft and enjoy the smooth stretches and white water patches. If you’re feeling even more adventurous, you can take on the river in a tube and rush along solo soaking in the sun, the adrenaline, and the gorgeous views of the mountain landscape. The Weber River doesn’t offer the wicked white water of some of Utah’s other rivers, but it is still enough for a thrill and some good family fun!
